Support Packages

Support packages are extra utilites that can be downloaded to enhance the application. It contains binaries for database backup and restore along with other tools.

Support tools are not required for the application to function, but are required when using utilities like:

PostgreSQL backup and restore
MySQL backup and restore
MongoDB backup, restore and shell

Installation

Open the packages window via Utilites Menu > Packages

packages

Select the package you with to install and click install.

Installed packages can be installed, reinstalled and uninstalled from here.

If you face any errors and packages are misbehaving, the tools can be deleted directly by navigating to:

Linux: $XDG_DATA_HOME or $HOME/.local/share/com.razein.wizql/support/packages
Windows:C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\com.razein.wizql\support\packages
Mac: /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/com.razein.wizql/support/packages

Deleting files.json will allow re-download of all packages.
